Paying It Forward on 9/11 spans from Austin to the UK
This September 11, our office manager, Cathy Levine, will be on sabattical in the United Kingdom. Cathy is one of the biggest supporters of Pay It Forward 9/11, so she decided to take the five-year movement from Austin across the pond, during her vacation. On Tuesday, she'll use her $50 to perform random acts of kindness for her fellow international travelers, and pay for their entrance fee to a castle or museum.

This marks a special anniversary for all of us who were brought together by the 9/11 tragedy. We think often of the day all the ‘plane people’ were deposited in Gander and the emotional turmoil we all experienced watching the news reports roll in and also in the interaction we had with the many people who were sent into our care.
I am glad to see that you have kept up your “pay it forward’ campaign. You never know when a kindness shown to a stranger today will flood his or her life with a similar emotion and pay enormous dividends in the community. (Comment this)
"I took this opportunity to approach three couples outside of our tour group and offered to pay for their entry to the show. At first they were incredulous and even puzzled, but then I explained our Pay it Forward initiative and they were surprised and pleased. I met some resistance which I overcame, and ultimately all three couples greatly appreciated the gift once they understood our intent to commemorate the generosity and kindness displayed by so many to United States citizens on that tragic day. I also passed out a letter with the gift of these tickets describing our initiative, Kevin's story and a suggestion that they pay the random act of kindness forward to others on this anniversary of 9/11."
